Karate

At Kids Club the “Shotokan” style of karate is taught to the children. The Club offers a safe, happy and encouraging environment where children will learn self defense, become “stranger aware” and learn how to deal with other kids at school. Our karate instructors make sure that the classes are well rounded, incorporating games, fitness activities, self defense skills and basic techniques of karate.

We teach:

1 - Basics  karate course:

We introduce only the fundamentals at this level.

• Basic terminologies and techniques
• Basic punches and kicks
• Non touch fights
• Brick breaking

 

At the end of this course there is a belt assessment for
“Yellow belt”

 

2 - Advanced karate course:

Advanced karate course is the programme designed to take our members from yellow belt to first degree black belt level. Black Belt Course membership is offered to students who high lighten a serious commitment and demonstrate a lot of progress in class. This where we introduce:

• Advanced Kata
• One on One Sparring
•  Re-breakable boards
• Working with Pads

 

This programme takes our members to a remarkable personal journey to one of the greatest accomplishments they will make in their lives “earning a black belt.”   

Instructors:

We believe our instructors have such impact with the children that they must have specific training in the skills of goal setting and motivation, so each one is fully trained and certified to work with children of all ages.
